It is crucial that events around the globe are cancelled or postponed to slow down the spread of COVID-19. The following events have taken these steps, Nedbank IMC 2020, Prism Awards 2020, Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, American Association of Advertising Agencies and Advertising Week Europe to name a few. Despite the economic costs involved in this decision, the health and safety of staff, exhibitors and visitors is critical.
Following the President’s speech, we will be postponing our affected events that exceed 100 people for the next 90 days, unless otherwise advised.
The following Sign Africa expos that we organise are therefore postponed:
Eastgate Pop-Up Expo – postponed to 31 July – 2 August 2020.
Cape Town Expo – postponed to 15-16 July 2020 (Hall 2).
East London – postponed and new dates to be announced once confirmed with venue.
The Johannesburg Modern Marketing expo, scheduled for 9-11 September 2020 at the Gallagher Convention Centre, will remain unchanged.
