Nokulunga Msomi and Sibusiso Magubane have been promoted as joint Creative Directors in MetropolitanRepublic’s Johannesburg office.
‘Since joining us in early 2022, Msomi and Magubane have shown a maturity far beyond their years, a quality that will no doubt serve them well in their new roles as creative managers,’ said Kamogelo Sesing, Executive Creative Director at MetropolitanRepublic.
Msomi and Magubane have been instrumental in the creative output of MetropolitanRepublic, particularly on the Glo Mobile account alongside MetropolitanRepublic founder, Paul Warner. ‘In a very short time, Msomi and Magubane have been able to gain our clients’ trust and respect. We value that greatly at Metro and encourage our creatives to foster and maintain those sorts of relations with our clients. Msomi and Magubane have done that by showing a deep care for the work they create for our clients,’ said Warner.
This dynamic duo looks forward to making a bigger impact and contribution, not just to Metro, but to the industry at large.
‘I’m truly honoured and excited for the journey ahead in leading teams and creating great work. My sincere gratitude to the Metro executive leadership for their guidance and support and most importantly for being true examples and believing in me,’ said Msomi.
On his appointment, Magubane had this to share: ‘It is an absolute honour and a privilege to have this opportunity to lead such an amazing agency. I’m extremely humbled by the confidence (the team) have entrusted in my abilities. I look forward to my new role and the great responsibility it comes with. This goes to show that when you keep your head down and put in the work, growth will inevitably follow.’
