ICCO Global Awards Shortlist Announced

The International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) is the voice of public relations consultancies around the world. The ICCO has unveiled the 64 entries that made the shortlist of the 2024 ICCO Global Awards.

Entries were reviewed by a panel of 13 international PR experts who assessed creativity, impact, and effectiveness in PR campaigns worldwide. The judging process was designed to uphold integrity, prevent conflicts of interest, and provide a diverse panel representing EMEA, APAC and LATAM.

Maisa Enqvist, Head of Digital Marketing at Netprofile and 2024 Global Awards Judge, said, ‘In times like these, driving meaningful progress is both essential and increasingly complex. This year’s entries exemplified how, in the hands of skilled professionals, even the most challenging topics can resonate powerfully with audiences who matter most. As a judge, I felt immense pride in our industry and the outstanding work we accomplish both locally and internationally.’

Suzy Giles, Managing Director at Giles Global Ltd, UNDP Climate Task Force and 2024 Global Awards Judge, echoed this sentiment, saying that, ‘It’s been a privilege judging the ICCO Global Awards – especially rewarding to see the power of communications to help motivate real action when it comes to tackling issues such as climate change and fundamental rights to healthcare. Makes you proud to be part of the industry.’

This year’s Global Awards are particularly unique not only due to the quality of submissions but also to the introduction of new award categories.

According to Andras Sztaniszlav, ICCO CEO, ‘This year’s shortlist reflects both the quality and diversity of PR talent worldwide, with new award categories opening up opportunities for even more creative work to be recognised. After conversations with PR experts from around the world, we introduced these extra categories to capture the evolving scope of our industry better. It’s inspiring to see entries from 20 countries showcasing impactful campaigns that tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues. We look forward to celebrating these achievements together in London.’

The winners will be revealed at the Gala Dinner on November 27 at The Waldorf Hotel in London, where industry professionals will gather to celebrate the most outstanding campaigns, teams, and individuals in global PR.
