Nobethu Jolobe has been appointed Creative Director for 3D environmental projects at strategic branding and communications agency, Harwood Kirsten Leigh Mccoy (HKLM).
Originally from Durban, Jolobe obtained her B. Arch degree from the University of Cape Town in 2001. Having worked for several years as an architect in South Africa, she then moved overseas to further her studies.
While in Japan, she earned an MSc. Eng degree from Mie University and achieved fluency in Japanese. In her capacity as an expressionist artist, she also participated in several exhibitions. Returning to South Africa in 2007, Jolobe resumed her career in architecture, which gave her the opportunity to pursue her twin passions for building design and artistic expression.
‘As a world citizen with deep African roots, Jolobe is a perfect fit for the agency and will add great value to HKLM’s projects,’ said Gary Harwood, Director HKLM.
